
The definition of “telecommunication product” can be very broad, so Anatel defines it as equipment, apparatus, device or element that comprises means necessary or sufficient to achieve telecommunication. Telecommunication products regulated by other countries’ organizations like the Federal Communications Commission are not allowed to be used or traded within Brazilian territory without homologation by Anatel.
